Keys To Success

About the Program

 

In Yavapai County, Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation fully funds and supports the Keys to Success Program of Arizona Friends of Foster Children FoundationThe program is designed to help youth who are aging out or have aged out of foster care and who reside in Yavapai County regardless of which Arizona court their
dependency case comes from. Through Keys to Success, youth receive the career planning, education and employment development services they need to achieve personal and financial stability. Additionally, the program connects participating youth to resources while offering unparalleled support as they make the transition from foster care to adulthood.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Keys to Success, youth must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently in or have been in the Arizona foster care system
  • Reside in Western Yavapai County
  • Be ages 16-21
  • Does not have a diagnosed disability that would qualify them for other supportive employment services.

We are so grateful for the incredible support we have received from our community for the Keys to Success program. In 2020, the United Way of Yavapai County granted YC4KF additional funding to expand the program and help youth aging out of the foster care system plan for life after high school.
